Target has issued a voluntary recall for 40,000 home patio sets.

Target is recalling a home patio set due to a falling hazard.

It is cooling off outside but if you still are using your patio furniture, you need to listen up. Thousands of outdoor patio furniture is being recalled from local Target stores. The patio chairs can collapse, causing injury.

Target is vountarily recalling patio sets you may have at your home. Chairs in the set can collapse when weight is applied to the front end of the arm rests. Target has received 35 reports of chairs collapsing, with 18 people being injured.

A 24-year-old Largo man lit his neighbor’s porch furniture on fire this weekend, Largo police say. His neighbor, a former friend, wasn’t home at the time but received a text message saying her house was burning, a Largo police news release states.
